Most of these slots and other gizmos are self expanatory. But no one I know has ever figured out what the GIMO slot is for. In this photo I forgot to label the P9 power plug. It is the little black plug-in on the upper edge of the motherboard right below the word "Port" in SCSI Port and just to the right of P2 (See the page "motherboard in the case" where the P9 plug is identified. Note the white "latch arms" on the three RAM slots. These arms should be swung outward when the slot is empty and will automatically swing into the locked position when you seat a RAM module. If they do not, press down on the RAM module and press the latch arm in toward the module until it latches.

This motherboard has the PCI riser removed so you are seeing the empty PCI riser slot.

Here is a shot of the StarMax case with the mother board slid out a little and the fan, LED, reset, soft power and speaker wires laid out so you can see them. Some of these connectors can be plugged in backwards, so when you take them out, note which side the writing is on and be sure to get them plugged back to the orientation you found them in. In my StarMax's they are plugged so the label is visible inside the computer.
